Update from Britanny:
I've got great news. The Clean Lakes bill to ban phosphorus in fertilizer passed the Senate yesterday, and awaits the governor's signature to become law!

We know there are plenty more threats to our lakes and streams, but for today, it's great to know that by working together and stopping some of the worst pollution, our children and grandchildren will have a better chance of swimming and fishing in the kind of beautiful lakes we can remember.

If you're proud of what we accomplished and liked receiving updates and being a part of this campaign, please consider making a small contribution of $10-$15 to Wisconsin Environment right now.

We're already planning our next campaign, and we'll be sending you regular updates on it. By chipping in a few dollars, you can help ensure we've got the resources to make it a success.

Whether you can give $10, $20, $50, or even $100, every dollar makes a difference.

I'm so proud of everyone who worked on this effort by signing the petition, making phone calls, sharing your stories or coming to public hearings. What a great day for clean lakes!

You'll hear back from me soon about our next campaign to protect Wisconsin's treasured environment. Thanks again.

Sincerely,
